Ferngrove is an idyllic location for our curated vertical wine experience. Our magnificent cellar door is complemented by large picture windows, and breathtaking views overlooking the undulating valleys of the Frankland River region.
This is an opportunity to taste our aged orchid wine varieties alongside their current release examples. This unique seated tasting takes you on a journey of discovery and highlighting the allure of aged cool-climate wines.
Our museum cellar holds 5 back-vintage orchid varieties Cossack Riesling, Diamond Chardonnay, King Malbec, Dragon Shiraz and Majestic Cabernet Sauvignon. These wines (named after the native orchids that grow in our preserved bush blocks) are grown from single vineyard sites with meticulous viticultural care.
The wine will be carefully curated for you according to your preferred variety of 1 white and 1 red and the years that best exemplify that variety will be selected. Discover first-hand how these wines are influenced over time. Please contact to discuss your preferences beforehand.
